The following European Air companies have direct flights to Kiev (Ukraine)
Ukraine International Airlines
Flying via Kyiv may involve changing from Boryspil International Airport to Zhulianiy domestic airport, and you will need to allow plenty of time for transfer and re-checking in. In this case, why not break your journey in Kyiv and spend a couple of days in this fascinating city of golden onion spires, birthplace of the slavic soul, now the centre of Ukraine’s rapidly growing enterprise economy, with facilities and nightlife to match. Kyiv is a really beautiful city with its marvellous hills and unique sightseeing. Having bunch of trees and flowers it is always associated with chestnuts. Kyiv architectural landscape is unique. Due to the huge number of orthodox churches it is called sometimes the Gold-Domed city.
There are domestic flights from Kiev (Boryspil International Airport) to Simpheropol Airport. There are the following direct flights:
- by AeroSvit Ukrainian Airlines (every day)
- Ukraine International Airlines (on Mondays and Sundays)
It is also possible to fly to Istanbul, and then fly across the Black Sea to Simferopol with Turkish Airlines by the direct flight (on Thursdays and Fridays). This is a longer trip, often with a wait of a few hours in Istanbul for the connecting flight, but worth considering if you want to break your journey and do a bit of sightseeing in the Turkish capital.
